Silver clay heart earrings with sterling silver bead.

Silver clay is a material that converts to pure silver when it is fired in a kiln to a temperature of 1650F. I oxidise my pieces after firing to produce a ‘ distressed’ look, but this can be made more shiny with further polishing. These dainty silver hearts are embossed with a feather pattern on the front. I have added a single silver bead to provide texture and shape contrast. These earrings are light as a feather. Size: length (earring hole to end) 1.25”.
