Silver clay is a material that converts to pure silver when it is fired in a kiln to a temperature of 1650F. I oxidise my pieces after firing to produce a ‘ distressed’ look, but this can be made more shiny with further polishing. These silver tabs are flat-fronted with an embossed feather pattern on the front. I have added some blue Swarovski beads above to provide sparkle, as well as texture and shape contrast. These dainty earrings are light as a feather. Size: length (earring hole to end) 1.5”.
