Labradorite was first discovered in the late 1700’s in Labrador, Canada. According to Eskimo Indian legend, the northern lights were freed from this stone. These flat circles of labradorite display the characteristic rainbow colors when held up to the light. I have added some contrast to the design with square-cut hematite beads above and below.
